7.5 Torque selection
Select the required torque by rotating the torque selection dial (2) to the desired
setting. The higher the setting, the higher the torque applied. The harder the
material to be machined is, the higher the required torque setting.
If the device is to be used as a drill, rotate the torque adjuster to the position
marked with the symbol
2. Removing the detachable drill chuck
•
Hold the drill / screwdriver firmly by the non-slip grip (6).
• Pull back and hold the drill chuck ring while pulling the detachable drill
chuck (1) off the bit holder (13).
• Mount the selected bit in the bit holder (13).
3. Mounting the drills in the detachable drill chuck
•
Mount the detachable drill chuck (1) in accordance with section
"Mounting the detachable drill chuck".
•
Set the torque selection dial (2) to 12 and press the reversing switch (8)
on the left side of the device. Hold the detachable drill chuck (1) firmly
and lightly press the ON/OFF switch with smooth speed control (5).
• The detachable drill chuck (1) will start to open.
•
After opening, mount the drill and turning the drill handle
counterclockwise, immobilize the drill.
• Press the reversing switch (8) on the right side of the device. Hold the
detachable drill chuck (1) firmly and lightly press the ON/OFF switch with
smooth speed control (5). The detachable drill chuck (1) will clamp to
lock the mounted drill bit.
