7.8 Drilling tips
•
To retain full control over the device, stand firmly on the ground and make sure
the drill bit is positioned perpendicularly to the surface.
•
Press the device always in the direction of the axis of the drill bit.
•
Press the tool with the minimum force needed to ensure penetration by the
drill bit.
• Do not press the tool too hard, as this could overload and stall the motor or
bend the drill bit.
Attention!
Set the torque value to the one needed at the moment.
Do not move the torque selection dial (2) while the device is operating.
The torque setting should correspond to the screw diameter. If the torque
setting is too high for the screw used, it might break or be damaged. Make sure
you set the torque appropriately for the screw used.
7.6 Rotation direction selection
Use the rotation direction switch to select the rotation direction (right or left).
• When the rotation direction switch is set on the right side (switch down on the
left side)
, the detachable drill chuck (1) will rotate left.
• When the rotation direction switch is set on the left side (switch down on the
right side)
, the detachable drill chuck (1) will rotate right.
Caution!
Do not switch the rotation direction while the device is operating.
7.7 Rotational speed selection.
Device rotating speed is changed using the 2-gear speed control transmission (3).
Slide the selector in the direction of the drill chuck – the device will operate at
high speed – number “2” will appear in the rotating speed selector opening.
Slide the selector away from the drill chuck – the device will operate at low speed
– number “1” will appear in the rotating speed selector opening.
Attention!
Set the RPM value to the one needed at the moment.
Do not move the rotating speed selector when the device is operating.
