Cleaning and maintenance
Proper and regular cleaning ensures safe operation and extends the life span of
the device .
Attention!
The spray gun must be cleaned thoroughly after every use. Failure to do so will
result in clogging of the spray gun and disabling of the device. The warranty
does not cover situations in which the spray gun has not been properly cleaned
by the user.
After every use follow the procedure described below:
•
Remove the fluid remaining in the fluid tank.
•
Clean the fluid tank thoroughly with solvent.
•
Pour some solvent into the fluid tank and start spraying. Stop spraying when
pure solvent starts coming out of the nozzle .
• Remove the plug from the socket .
•
Remove the fluid tank, the suction tube and the membrane.
•
Clean the suction tube and the membrane thoroughly with solvent.
• Remove paint residue from the nozzle and the spray gun .
• Reassemble the spray gun .
•
For a more thorough cleaning, you can disassemble the gun by disconnecting
its parts with the handle from the nozzle with the container .
• The cleaning needle (14) is necessary to clean hard-to-reach areas of the
washer nozzle .
Warning!
Before performing cleaning and maintenance operations, turn the
device off, disconnect it from the power source and let it cool down, so as to
avoid burns and electrical shock .
Attention! Clean the spray gun only with non-flammable solvents, e.g.
chlorinated ones.
• When spraying onto small surfaces, set low spraying intensity, which will
decrease paint consumption and enable you to avoid over-spraying.
•
Whenever possible, avoid stopping and starting, as it may result in the
application of too little or too much fluid.
•
Do not tilt the spray gun by more than 45°.
• When there is a need to put away the gun during use, the gun can be placed in
the compressor housing for greater convenience .
