USING THE TORQUE WRENCH:
1. Always use the correct socket size.
2. Use constant force to rotate the torque wrench handle.
3. When the required torque force has been reached,
you will hear a click / tap. Afterwards, stop turning the
wrench.
CAUTION:
Stop turning the wrench when you hear the
signal indicating that you have reached the required torque
value (click/tap); otherwise, it may cause the wrench to use
incorrect force or it may damage the wrench.
4. If the torque wrench has not been used and/or is new or
has been stored for some time, practice using it several
times at low settings before actual use to allow the
grease inside to spread to the moving parts.
5. When the torque wrench is not in use, make sure that it
is set to the lowest value and the wrench lock screw has
been loosened.
6. Never set the torque wrench to a value lower than
28Nm torque.
7. Never use the torque wrench with unscrewed or twisted
screws, nuts or couplings. This may damage its ratchet
system. In such cases, it is recommended that traditional
tools be used to initially unlock the device. Clean the
device by wiping it with a dry cloth with some grease.
The device does not contain any user-serviceable parts. Do
not attempt to repair the device on your own. Always have
the device repaired by a professional.
The wrench handle has an oil filler opening, stoppered with
a cap. If you have any problems with setting the wrench,
add some oil.
