Chapter 2: Features
Message Listen Mode
The Message Listen Mode setting determines the type of messages that the Voice Mail will
play, when someone presses
L
(5) to listen to the messages stored in a Subscriber, Guest, or
Message Center Mailbox. The choices for this setting are All, New, Saved, or Held. The user
can override on a per-call basis the listen mode that you programmed.

Message Notification

Mail can call the following types of numbers:
Q
Extension numbers
Q
Local numbers
Q
Long distance numbers
Q
Radio pager number (with or without an announcer)
Q
Digital pager number. The digital display can show the telephone number and mailbox
number sending the message as well as the total number of messages in the mailbox.
The NT Voice Mail also lets users select whether they want to:
Q
receive notification calls for all messages or only messages from a specific mailbox
Q
have to enter their Mailbox Security Code when they receive messages at a non-pager

For example, Message Notification makes it easy for traveling sales representatives to know
