Instal ling th e Ports
Voice Mail Ports
When installed and In Service, each Voice Mail port in your system serves as an entrance for
inbound calls and an exit for outbound calls. The NT Voice Mail can have a maximum number of
24 ports installed. The number of ports in your system depends on how many Port (Voice Cards)
are installed and on your system’s configureation. You can use the port installation procedure
explained in this section to install up to 24 ports.
To use the port installation procedure:
1.
Click File on the menu bar to display the File menu.
2.
From the File menu, select Install to display the Install drop-down menu shown below.
3.
From the Install drop-down menu, select Ports to display the Install Voice Mail Ports dialog
box shown below.
