To perform the local backup procedure (cont’d):

From the Tools menu, select Local Backup to display the Backup dialog box shown below.

From the list of items at the top of the Backup dialog box:
Click to select the check box for each item you want to back up.

If you clicked to select the Voice Messages check box:
a. Click to select the check box for the type of voice message you want to back up

New,
Held, and/or Saved.
b. Decide whether you want to back up the voice messages in all mailboxes in your Voice
Mail or only those in certain mailboxes. Then:
Click to select the Backup All Mailboxes check box to back up all voice messages, OR
enter the numbers of the mailboxes in the Mailbox Numbers box.
