Ports In/Out of Service
When an installed Voice Mail port is In Service, you can use the port as a Voice Mail entrance for
inbound calls. You can also use the port as a Voice Mail exit for outbound calls.
You can now change the status of an installed port from Out of Service to In Service or from In
Service to Out of Service.
To change the status of an installed port:
1.
Click Tools on the menu bar to display the Tools menu.

From the Tools menu, select Ports In/Out of Service to display the Port In/Out Services
dialog box shown below.

To change the port status from Out of Service to In Service:
Double-click the current port status, OR
Click the current port status, and then press Y.
