The following example shows the screen, when choosing to view
PROTO=UDP:

Search String –
allows the log file to be searched using a specific string to search for. For example: If
you wanted to view all the Logs that had the IP Address of 50.50.50.50, then type the IP Address in the
Search String field and press the View Logs button. It will show all the Log files that contain that IP
Address.
Syslog Host
This option allows the Log files to be sent to an external machine that is running a
Syslog Host
. To
enable this feature type in the IP Address of the machine that is the
Syslog Host
and then press the
Apply
Changes
button.
NOTE:
When this option is active, the log files will be unavailable to view from the InterLynx/TS. The
website
www.kiwisyslog.com
offers a free version of Syslogd Host for Windows NT/2000.
