Always use the paint sprayer with an air filter, as dirt can be sucked up and mixed
with your coating material, not great for your finish. Always check the air filter
before you start spraying.
How to clean the air ventilation hose
Paint shouldn't typically get in the ventilation hose, but if it does, simply unscrew
the container, and apply some pressure to pull the suction tube and its seal away
from the spray attachment itself. Clean all the parts carefully.
Once clean, insert the suction tube back into the spray attachment, ensuring the
seal is, well, sealed. Run your fingers around the rim of the spray attachment,
pushing the seal upwards.
Pro tip:
The ventilation hose and suction tube parts are only partially
solvent-resistant, so it’s best to wipe them down rather than immerse them.
