SN-165
- Perform the following measures in order to avoid any unbalancing of the machine and, consequently,
making accidents possible:
Both mowing drums must be equipped with all the blades, new or equally worn.
Do not change only one blade in the drum, but change the entire set.
The drums must be equipped with all the transport plates.
Any damaged or worn drums, plates, and blade holders must be replaced as soon as possible.
Do not exceed a speed of 540 RPM in the power take-off.
- Moving components/parts due to inertia continue moving after the power is shut off to the machine for
sometime. So, before changing any component/part, disconnect the power source, look, and listen to
check if there is any evidence of movement. Only touch the component/part when you are sure it is
motionless. Always pay close attention!
- Keep people and animals away at a safe distance while the machine is operating.
- If it is necessary to operate the machine while it is suspended by the hydraulic system, it must be done
safety. The hydraulic mechanisms can descend without any reason or due to leakage in the system
and cause an accident.
- Do not place the machine on cement blocks, hollow tiles, or other supports which can crush from a
prolonged weight load.
- Do not work under a machine lifted by only jacks; always use a safe support base.
- Always check the terrain before starting your mowing job. Mark any dangerous places or obstacles
which may impose a hazard to the operating machine.
- If you notice any abnormality in the operation: vibrations, different noises etc., turn off the machine
immediately. Check and eliminate the cause before turning it on again.
- Never operate the machine in closed surroundings and without any ventilation, the gases released
from the tractor motor are highly harmful to your health.
- Do not use the driveshaft without the safety shield. Keep a safe distance from the moving driveshaft.
- Whenever maneuvering the machine connected to the tractor, make sure there is enough space for
performing the maneuvers.
- Always set the speed of the tractor movement based on the local conditions. Avoid any sudden
maneuvers especially in places where it is sloped. When hitching a load that is heavier than the tractor,
never exceed a speed of 16 km/hour.
