Voice messages
Voice mail is a network service that may require a
subscription from your service provider.
Your phone will notify you when you receive a voice
message.
New voice message
will appear on the display
along with the
icon, and you’ll hear a short beep.
Your phone will display the number of voice messages
if you’ve received more than one.
Setting up your voice mailbox number
Before you can retrieve any voice messages, you need
to store your voice mailbox number. Your service
provider usually gives this number to you.
When you’re ready to store your voice mailbox number,
press
Menu

Messages - Voice messages - Voice
mailbox number
). Then enter your voice mailbox phone
number and press
OK
. This number can be up to 32
digits long and is used until it’s changed. So if your
phone number changes, you may need to change your
voice mailbox number along with it.
Greetings, passwords, and prompts
These may vary in different wireless systems. So if you
need information about how to record your greeting or
how to store your password, contact your service
provider. You’ll also need to contact them on how to
listen to voice messages once you’re connected to your
voice mailbox.
Listening to your voice messages
If
New voice message
is displayed, just press
Listen
and
follow the prompts. If you’d rather listen to your
messages later, press
Exit
.
You can listen to messages anytime if you press and
hold the 1 key;
Calling voice mailbox
will appear on the
display. Or if you prefer, you can access your voice
mailbox by pressing
Menu
