To connect to the IP71 from a remote location using SSH
1.
Select the Authentication Method: Password, Public Key or Either.
Enable Fingerprint if you select Key-Based Authentication.

Key-Based Authentication
for information on how to generate a
fingerprint.
Click Submit if you select Password-based authentication.
Initiate a SSH session from the SSH client to access the IP71.

If you select key-based authentication, do the following
a.
In the SSH User Table, enter the Fingerprint, User ID and Type.

Click Add to add the user to the SSH User Table.
To modify an existing user, select the user in the User Table, change
the information and click Modify.
To delete a user, select the user in the User Table and click Delete.

Click Submit.
Initiate a SSH session from the SSH client to access the IP71.
You can also use the IP71 as an SSH server and initiate an SSH connection
with a remote SSH client. To initiate an SSH connection,
d.
In the SSH Host Table, enter the Fingerprint and IP Address of the
SSH Host in the SSH Host Table.

Click Add to add a host to the SSH Host Table.
To modify an existing host, select the host in the Host Table, change
the information and click Modify.
To delete a host, select the host in the Host Table and click Delete.
Password-Based Authentication
No configuration is necessary on the IP71 to connect using the username and
password. The IP71 accepts password-based SSH connections from the LAN
and WAN by default. Ensure that the IP71 and the computer running the SSH
client have an active connection to each other.
