8.5 Control Panel
•
If the system will not turn on, ensure that an adequate power supply with
a good ground is established.
•
If part of the screen is black or if parts of some of the digits do not
appear, the screen may have to be replaced. If the panel is mounted so
that direct sunlight hits the face, this can cause the display to heat up and
turn black temporarily. The problem will disappear when the display
cools down again.
•
If the system switches between AUTO and MANUAL modes randomly
or the display changes erratically there may be electrical noise on the
sprayers D.C. system. To correct this problem you may need a power
line filter or freewheeling diodes on one or more of the sprayers solenoid
valve. Please contact Norac if a problem such as this arises, and our
service department will help determine a solution to the problem.
•
If the unit does not behave properly and no other cause can be
determined the control panel may be in need of repair.
8.6 Other
•
Inspect boom damper shocks. Replace if worn. Without adequate
mechanical damping, the system may become unstable.
•
Tighten boom springs.
•
Add more boom damping.
