Chapter Three BIOS Set up
BIOS Refresh
BIOS functions as a bridge connecting hardware and operating system. Hardware and
software are upgrading all the time, so when your system goes wrong, for example, your
system cannot support the newest CPU, you need to upgrade BIOS to keep up with the latest
technology. AFUEFI.EXE is the reading and writing program of BIOS data, which needs to be
operated in DOS environment.
Please use a system boot disk to boot the system into a pure DOS environment, and then
use the AFUEFI.EXE program to write the BIOS data (such as BIOS.ROM) you used to
upgrade to FLASH IC.
Specific operation instructions are

latest version on related websites.

Do not turn off the power or restart the system during the upgrade process, or your BIOS
data will be damaged and the system may not start.

Reboot the system after BIOS upgrade

AMI BIOS Description
