Examining the tree
Before using the Nordforest Titan 80 Mechanical Felling Wedge, you
must examine the tree to be felled.

In so doing, note the following factors that influence the felling:
• inclination and height of tree,
• natural overhang,
• form and condition of branches (dry or loose branches),
• wind direction and wind strength,
•
obstacles in the vicinity such as buildings, paths, power lines.

Where possible, fell the tree in its natural fall direction.
