How to clean the barbecue
1. Before cleaning the barbecue, it is necessary to unplug the power cord.
2. Let the barbecue cool down.
3. Use a piece of wet cloth to clean exterior and power base of the barbecue, and then dry these
parts with a piece of dry cloth. Especially ensure that the power base is completely dry. Never use
coarse cleaning objects, or otherwise the barbecue body will be ground.
Cleaning Exterior Surfaces and the thermostat
• Before initial use, and periodically thereafter, wash the BBQ using soap and warm water.
Use a wash cloth or sponge for this process. Do not use a stiff wire or brass brush that might
scratch the stainless steel surface Wipe the chassis and thermostat with a damp, soft cloth.
Cleaning Exterior Surfaces-Stainless Steel
Weathering and extreme heat can cause exterior stainless steel surfaces to turn tan in color.
Follow these steps for the best cleaning results:
1. Remove dirt or grease using hot water & soap and a soft cloth. Then, polish and treat the
stainless surfaces using only an approved stainless steel care product. Never use abrasive
cleaners or scrubbers as they will damage the surface as well as destroy the printed graphic
surfaces used for operating instructions.
2. Finish by wiping your BBQ clean with a soft cloth and allow to air dry before starting the BBQ
Cleaning the chip bowl
• To reduce risk of fat fire, all fat residues should be removed from the chip bowl before use.
• Use detergent and hot water to clean the chip bowl. The chip bowl should be replaced when
necssary.
• Like other electrical appliances, the correct manitenance is crucial for keeping the BBQ in best
condition. Follow these instructions in order to keep a long lifespan for your BBQ.
WARNING:
In order to avoid overheating, this appliance shall not be covered by
any solid or flexible material such as an aluminum tray, aluminum foil or trays made of
other heat resistant material.
The use of such items or materials on the BBQe would impair the safety of your product
and could lead to serious damage.
