Input/Output (I/O) Card (4)

(contd.)

Oven cover interlock switch — oven cover open or closed status for
the CPU card.

Reset switch — reset signal for the oven controller after a power loss
or oven failure

Safety latching relay — reset switch open or close status for the CPU
card

PCB stackup detector — stackup condition for the CPU card

I/O card outputs and their associated system responses are as follows:

Main contactor — turns on the oven

Blower contactor — turns on the blower

Monitor assembly— turns on the display monitor

Storage area door valve — releases the latch on the storage area
doors for 15 seconds

Alarm — alerts the CPU Card to error conditions or oven failures

Alarm light stack — turns on the appropriate operational status alarm
light of the oven

Silicon Control Rectifier (SCR) Card (5 and 6)

This card controls the SCR’s that deliver power to the IR lamps in each
oven zone. The SCR’s are located on the electrical panel in the oven
base.

Dual Motor Control Card (7)

This board controls the conveyor width and speed motors. Circuit
breakers on the card provide protection against a width run-away
condition or a jammed speed condition.

The card monitors conveyor width using an optical encoder and a limit
switch board. The limit switch board sets the conveyor width limits.
