1. Run the purge program (refer to the
Operation
section).
WARNING:
System or material pressurized. Relieve pressure.
Failure to observe may result in serious burns.
2. Pull up on the relief valve on the fluid reservoir to relieve the system
pressure before opening the reservoir. Refer to the appropriate
Select Coat system manual for procedures.
3. Drain the coating material from the fluid system and flush with the
recommended solvent. Refer to the appropriate Select Coat system
manual for procedures.
4. Shut down your Select Coat system before removing the film coater
from the robot. Refer to the appropriate Select Coat system manual
for procedures.
5. If the film coater micro-adjust cap is adjusted to the correct setting,
make a note of the setting for future reference.
NOTE:
Handle O-rings and seals carefully. If O-rings and seals are
damaged, the film coater may leak or fail prematurely.
NOTE:
Do not expose the solenoid valve to solvents or coating material.
Solvents could damage the valve, and coating material may clog it.
1. Remove the nozzle, or the nozzle nut and nozzle, from the
film coater.
2. Remove the screws (4) securing the front (unthreaded) half of the
rotating ring (3).
3. Remove the screws (1) and the mounting plate (2) that hold the
SC-200HS body module to the manifold (9).
4. Lift the film coater module up and off the manifold.
5. Remove the two O-rings (8) from the air and fluid ports on the
body-to-manifold mating surfaces. Examine the O-rings and replace
them if necessary.
