Making a priority call
1. Press

2. Wait for a connection, then speak.
A person who receives a priority call while on another call has
eight seconds to accept or block the call. For information about
blocking calls, see
Stopping calls from ringing at your
telephone: Do Not Disturb (DND)
on page 194. If the person
does nothing, the priority call feature puts their active call,
including conference parties, on Exclusive Hold and connects
your call.
Giving a telephone the ability to make priority
calls
Use system programming to allow a telephone to make
priority calls.
1. Place the programming template over the appropriate
buttons of the programming telephone.
2. Press

3. Press

(the default System Coordinator
password).
4. Press

and enter the internal number of the
telephone you want to program.
5. Press

twice.
6. Press
