Group Pickup
Your
system

call that is ringing at any telephone in your pickup group.

The Trunk Answer feature allows you to answer an external Call
that is ringing at any other telephone in your office.
Trunk Answer works only with calls that are ringing on lines for
which a Service Mode is active and if Trunk Answer

You may see some of these displays while using a Call Pickup
feature.

telephone that made the call you are
trying to pick up. This can happen if
you are on a call to a co-worker, your
c o - w o r k e r d i a l s t h e n u m b e r o f a
t e l e p h o n e i n y o u r P i c k u p g r o u p , a n d
you attempt to pick up that call.

Pickup group.

Notes
Call Pickup cannot be used on private lines. Group Pickup can
not be
to retrieve a camped call.
To use
Pickup, the telephone must be ringing. If, for
e x a m p l e , t h e a u x i l i a r y r i n g e r i s r i n g i n g , b u t t h e c a l l i s n o t r i n g i n g
at a telephone, the call cannot be answered using Directed
Pickup. It must be answered normally at a telephone that has a
flashing indicator for the call, or by using Trunk Answer.
If a call is ringing on an Answer button, you can use
Pickup to answer the call by entering the internal number of any
member of the Answer group.
