INITIAL COMMISSIONING OF THE FILTER 

After your filter system has been installed and all hoses and pipes have been connected, fill the pool with water. If you 
are using a built-in skimmer, fill with water up to the skimmer half (mark: water surface between the two arrows on the 
skimmer flange). 
 
 
It should be noted that the skimmer should always be so far submerged under water so that the pump is never able to 
suck  in  air!  Commissioning  can  begin  once  the  water  has  reached  the  correct  height  from  the  installation  skimmer. 
Open the sliders on the tubing! 
 
 
Open  the  coarse  filter  cover  a  little  so  that  air  can  escape  until  water  starts  to  flow  out.  Then  close  the  cover  again 
(during this process air escapes from the coarse filter and the pump). The coarse filter must be filled with water for the 
pump to suction. 
 
 
 

Important: The pump must always be below the level of the water surface! Also open the vent screw on 

the upper part of the tank so that the air can escape from the tank. As soon as the water flows out, tightly 
close it again (only by hand, not with the tool!). It must be avoided that the pump runs dry. Fill the pump with 
water before initial operation and after longer periods of inactivity. For this purpose, the coarse filter sieve 
pot is filled to the brim with water. 

 
 
 
If the filter system is properly vented, the first step is to backwash (as described below). 
 
 
The screen basket must be cleaned from time to time. To do this, switch off the filter system, close all sliders and set the 
6-way valve to the "closed" position. 
 
 
Open the lid of the coarse filter sieve pot by unscrewing it to the left and remove the sieve basket. Rinse it well under 
the water pipe and reinsert it in reverse order. Also grease the sealing ring of the pump cover with Vaseline. 
 

 
Attention:
