1. Fill the suction hose with water before connecting it to the skimmer (the suction hose must be completely empty of
air). The vacuum cleaner hose can be filled with water by pushing it vertically under the surface of the water from
beginning to end or by holding the vacuum cleaner hose to an inlet nozzle (filter must be in operation) until no more
air bubbles escape from the vacuum cleaner brush.
The vacuum cleaner hose can now be connected to the skimmer (with suction plate). The vacuum cleaner is now
ready for vacuuming.
2. Leaves or stones should
not
be vacuumed. Larger dirt particles must be removed with the net before vacuuming. A
vacuum cleaner is designed to vacuum algae and mud. Backwash more often if necessary!
3. Do
not
vacuum during backwashing as this would clog the filter cross.
OVERWINTERING YOUR FILTER SYSTEM
Empty filter, pump and piping completely and protect from frost.
Please observe the following instructions:
1. Backwash the filter thoroughly.
2. Empty the pipe system. Drain the water in the pool to below the inlet nozzles.
(Loosen the hose connections).
3. Empty the filter system with the lower drain plug and leave it open.
4. Remove both drain screws of the pump and the coarse filter cover.
5. Set the 6-
way valve to the "Filter” position.
6. Put all electrical connections out of operation. If possible, switch off the fuses.
7. Pour sand out of the tank, clean and allow to dry.
When recommissioning the system in spring, proceed in reverse order. If you observe all these points, your swimming
pool filter system will enjoy a long service life.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION ACCORDING TO DIN
The filter system should always be disconnected (plugged out) from the power supply before using the pool.
Do not use an extension cable to connect the filter system. Place the filter to a sturdy base. Placing the filter system in
the grass can lead to damage. When installing the system in a filter shaft, ensure that drainage is possible (sump or
drain), as the pump must never stand in the water. The required socket must be at least two meters away from the pool
wall.
must be at least 60 cm from the pool wall! The electrical connection must be made by a licensed electrical company in
accordance with pertinent regulations! In addition, the supply line must be equipped with a 30 mA residual current circuit
breaker, the function of which has been checked.
Failure to observe these points may result in damage to the filter system. There are no claims for compensation
for such damages!
