VPN support
Nortel Switched Firewall 2.3.3 includes support for Virtual Private Networks (VPN) with
IPSEC. With support for VPN with IPSEC you can use the Check Point VPN feature to
process traffic through the Switched Firewall from external clients or sites running third-party
VPN software.
VPN support is entirely configured by the Check Point management tools.
To enable VPN support do the following:
1.
Open the SmartDashboard.
2.
Double-click the firewall Gateway object.
The Gateway Cluster Properties page appears.
3.
On the Gateway Cluster Properties page, select VPN in the Check Point products list (see
Figure 115
).
4.
Click OK.
5.
On the Gateway Cluster Properties page, select VPN from the list.
The VPN list opens.
6.
Select VPN Advanced.
The Gateway Cluster Properties—VPN Advanced page opens (see
Figure 116 on page 224
).
