Command Syntax and Usage
name
This command allows you to give a user friendly name to each firewall. When you login
as “admin,” the name of the firewall is displayed as part of the banner. This allows you
to easily identify the firewall.
hwplatform
Displays the specified host’s hardware platform model number (5106, 5111
-NE1,
5109,
5114
-NE1,
or 5114).
halt [y|n]
After confirmation, this command stops the currently selected host. Always use this
command before turning off the device.
If the host you want to halt has become isolated from the cluster, you will receive an
error message when performing the
halt
command. You can then try logging in to the
specific host using its local serial port (or a Telnet or SSH connection to the host’s indi-
vidually assigned IP address) and use the
/boot/halt
command.
