To initialize Secure Internal Communication (SIC), do the following (see
Figure 119
):
Click
Communication
.
Type an Activation Key in the entry field.
TIP
: Use the Activation Key when you pull the certificate to the Firewall.

Once SIC is initialized, the trust state displays as “Initialized but trust not
established.” This is normal and does not change even after a SIC certificate is pulled from the
Check Point SmartCenter Server (see
Step 5 on
page 383
).

To install the policy on the Firewall, do the following (see
Figure 120 on page 381
):.
From the menu bar, select Policy
Select Install.
