Tuning Check Point NGX performance

Connection parameters

To tune connection parameters, perform the following steps:

Right-click the firewall object on the Check Point SmartDashboard.

Select Edit.

Open the Logs and Masters

Capacity Optimization tab.

Edit the Maximum concurrent sessions (see

Figure 130

Check Point Host—Capacity Optimization

Raise the maximum concurrent sessions level to one that is consistent with the
specifications for the model you are using. The default is 25000.
