Introduction
the column of a subdomain (for example, a.xyz.com) indicates that
branding is enabled for this subdomain. A value of False indicates that
branding is not enabled. This approach also applies to the True or False
values under the parent domain (xyz.com). The True or False values in
the highlighted columns indicate whether the branding announcement
actually plays.
You can draw the following conclusions from
Table 2 "Branding for calls
between users within subdomains of a domain" (page 24)
:
•
When both the originating and called parties are in the same subdomain,
the rules for that subdomain override the rules for the domain.
•
When the originating and called parties are in different subdomains, the
rules for the domain override the rules for the subdomains.

IM Chat service
With Instant Messaging (IM), users communicate with each other by
sending text messages. A user can use the IM Chat service to send instant
messages to multiple users in one chat room, invite other people to join the
chat room, browse online chat rooms, or select a specific chat room to
join. Only subscribers with IM Chat enabled in their service package can
use this service.
Note: IM Chat is supported on the Multimedia PC Client, the Multimedia
Web Client, the Multimedia Office Client, and the Multimedia PC Client
for IBM Lotus Notes.
