Accounting records for Meet Me Audio Conferencing and Ad Hoc
Audio Conferencing
The Ad Hoc Audio Conferencing and Meet Me Audio Conferencing services
require data capture to allow correlation of all participants in a conference
for the purpose of generating accounting records. Currently, the <uID>
and <corrID> fields in the Internet Protocol Detail Records (IPDR) are
used to associate data among the records. There are fields that identify
which records pertain to an Ad Hoc Audio conference or Meet Me Audio
conference. Ad Hoc conferences are identified by a conference token, and
Meet Me conferences by the chairperson user name (user@domain).
The billing service responsible for capturing the accounting information
resides on the Session Manager where IPDRs are generated. Therefore,
the additional data required for conference correlation is sent to the Session
Manager in SIP INFO messages.
