Chapter 3 Understanding the LEDs

When you first start the switch, all of the port 

Link/Act

 LEDs flash once and the 

Status 

LED flashes to indicate that the switch is booting and performing its 

POST (Power On Self Test) routine.

Power and Console LEDs

You can use the 1424T switch with AC power supply 100- 240 VAC, 50 - 60 Hz. 
There is no separate power switch. You power up the device when you connect the 
AC power cord to the AC receptacle on the rear panel 

(Figure 6)

 and the AC 

outlet.
