Solar Lantern with Pillar Candle

Please read the entire instruction manual before use and save

Safety

Avoid looking directly into the light source. Doing so may 
damage your eyesight.

• 

Only use the recommended type of rechargeable batteries.

• 

This product must not be modified or adapted in any way.

• 

Only let a qualified technician perform repairs and using 
only original spare parts.

• 

Do not let children play with the product.

• 

NEVER use non-rechargeable batteries in the light.

Operating instructions

1.  Open the door and set the push button power switch above 

the candle to 

ON

 (pushed in) before charging the light.

2.  The battery in the light must be charged for at least 8 hours 

in full sunlight before it becomes fully charged. Bear in 
mind that the solar light will charge best when exposed to 
direct sunlight. 

3.  The battery can also be removed and charged in a separate 

charger (not included). It is advisable to maintenance charge 
the battery in a separate charger from time to time,  
especially during the darker seasons. Procedure:

a.  Carefully remove the top 

of the solar light using 
a screwdriver or similar.

Care and maintenance

Clean the product using a soft, moist cloth. Only use mild 
detergents; never use solvents or strong, abrasive cleaning 
agents for cleaning as these can damage the product.  
Set the power switch above the candle to 

OFF

 (not pushed in) 

before putting the light away for storage.

Disposal

This product should be disposed of in accordance with local 
regulations. If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your 
local council.

b.  Remove the 4 screws 

that hold the solar panel 
in place.

c.  Remove the solar panel 

(the lid) from the battery 
holder and charge 
the battery in a separate 
charger (sold separately).

d.  Re-insert the battery 

in accordance with 
the markings in  
the battery holder. 

Warning:

 Only rechargeable NiMH batteries should be used. 

NEVER use non-rechargeable batteries in the light.
