Engine throttle control does not
open completely.
Throttle control not adjusted
correctly.
Open the engine throttle control
completely.
Adjust the throttle control
correctly.
Concrete is too thick or contains
steel reinforcing bars.
Cutting blade is worn-out.
Replace the cutting blade.
A V-belt is loosened or worn
out.
Check the slippage between the
belt and the pulley. Adjust the
tension by engine base support
bolts and slot holes, and
replace it if needed.
Air filter is clogged with dust
which reduces engine
performance.
Clean/replace the air filter.
Engine speed too low.
Check the engine speed with
tachometer. Adjust/repair the
engine to run at correct speed.

Engine is running, but no
rotation of the blade
Engine throttle not open.
Open the engine throttle.
A V-belt is loose or broken.
Adjust/replace the belt.
Blade holder (inner or outer) is
damaged.
Inspect and replace holder.
