Chapter 3 - Using the Controls
Alarm messages
Alarm messages contain information you should read as soon
as possible. Alarms are communicated by the flashing excla-
mation symbol in the bottom-right portion of the display.
Press the
function key once to show the alarm condition
on the
ALARMS
screen. Press the
menu key to
acknowledge and clear the message.
Note that in the 952 sample screen on the right, the
and
keys that are present in the 951 are absent; this is
because the double
key, located at the left of the dis-
play, is used to adjust the 952’s display-screen brightness.
Messages you haven’t seen before contain the word
NEW
in
the upper right of the
RECENT ALARMS
box. You can review
old (previous) alarms by repeated presses of the
menu key.
Information
windows
Information windows are displayed while you’re entering data
or using control functions. They give you extra details about
what’s going to happen, or let you acknowledge a command.
Information windows always appear with the word
INFO
in a
small box.
