box appears—depending on whether you selected a route
leg or a trip leg, respectively.
2. Press the
EDIT
key.
The
CHART
screen appears, showing the selected route
leg or trip leg.
3. Press the
CURSOR PAD
to move the cursor to the desired
location of the waypoint to be inserted.
The tentative location of the new route or trip leg is
displayed.
4. Press the
DONE
key to insert the new point (or press the
CANCEL
key to cancel).
The
CHART
screen appears, showing the new point
inserted into the selected route leg or trip leg.
Editing a waypoint
You can select an existing waypoint, route point, or trip point
on the
CHART
screen, and move it to another location:
1. On the
CHART
screen, press the
CURSOR PAD
to select a
waypoint. If necessary, to select a named waypoint or a
waypoint that’s part of a route or trip, press the
LEFT
ARROW
key or
RIGHT ARROW
key.
2. Press the
CURSOR
menu key.
The
SELECTED WAYPOINT
dialog box appears. If
you’ve selected a trip point or a route point instead of a
named waypoint, this box will be named
SELECTED TRIP
POINT
or
SELECTED ROUTE POINT
.
