Displaying routes
Routes may be displayed in two different ways. For the type of
display and its corresponding location, see “Table 6: Displaying
routes” below.
Graphical display
Displaying a route on the chart screen
A route is displayed on the
CHART
screen as a dark blue line
that connects waypoints. You can only display one route at a
time on the
CHART
screen. For example, assume
ROUTE A
is
already displayed on the
CHART
screen: If you start creating
ROUTE B
on the
CHART
screen, the display of
ROUTE A
is
automatically removed.
To display a route on the
CHART
screen, you must first mark
the route for display:
1. Press the
WAYPTS/ROUTES
key to access the
ROUTES
screen.
2. Press the
CURSOR PAD
up or down to select the desired
route.
3. To mark the route for display, press the
ON CHART
key (to
unmark the route for display, press the
OFF CHART
key).
4. Press the
CHART
key.

ROUTES

marked to accept
SAVE
keypresses, route
name, date the route was last modified, total
distance covered by the route (length), and by
distance to your present position (proximity).
