Initially, this information for today’s date and the present time
is displayed. To view the current graph for past or future dates,
press the
CURSOR PAD
to highlight the day and date, then
press the left or right arrow keys to view past and future dates,
respectively. To view the current graph for past or future
hours, press the
CURSOR PAD
to highlight the hour (for
example,
03
), then press the
LEFT ARROW
or
RIGHT ARROW
keys to view past or future hours, respectively. To view the
current graph for past or future minutes, press the
CURSOR
PAD
to highlight the minutes (for example,
46
), then press the
LEFT ARROW
or
RIGHT ARROW
keys to view past or future
minutes (in five-minute increments only), respectively.
For a selected currents station, the
CURRENTS STATION
bar
at the bottom displays the distance and bearing to the selected
current station, as well as its lat/lon coordinates and TDs.
To select current stations other than the one nearest your
vessel, see below.
Choosing cursor-location current stations
You can choose any current station on the
CHART
screen by
moving the cursor to that station.
1. At the
CHART
screen, press the
OVERLAY
key, then press
the
SHOW CURRENTS
key.
2. As you’re displaying the
CHART
screen showing the area
current stations and
STATION COVERAGE
bar, press the
CURSOR PAD
to move the cursor to select the desired
current station (you may have to press the
OUT
key to see
the location of other current stations).
3. To view the graph, press the
GRAPH ON
key.
