NOTE:
If you’re viewing and editing information on the
DISPLAY SETUP
screen, and you press one of the five function keys to view other
data, your edit-in-progress is immediately cancelled so you can view
the data requested by your function keypress. To resume editing at
the
DISPLAY SETUP
screen, you must return to that screen and
re-enter the data that you lost when you pressed the function key.
To purposely cancel an edit-in-progress, however, you’d normally
press the
CANCEL
key.

field, then press the

key.
2. Press the
CURSOR PAD
left or right or press the

.
3. When done, press the

to leave
the option unchanged).
4. Press

Cross-track error
scale
You can adjust the cross-track display limits on the
STEER
screen and the
CHART
screen’s
INFO BARS
to suit your
needs—whether you’re navigating out in open waters or trying
to maneuver through a tight channel. Cross-track scale is the
total left-to-right distance limit on your screen. For example, a
cross-track scale setting of 1000 feet displays 500 feet on
either side of your track line.
