Each of these options is described in detail below.
NOTE:
If you’re viewing and editing information on the
CHART SETUP
screen, and you press one of the five function keys to view other
data, your edit-in-progress is immediately cancelled so that you can
view the data requested by your function keypress. To resume
editing at the
CHART SETUP
screen, you must return to that
screen and re-enter the data that you lost when you pressed the
function key. To
purposely
cancel an edit-in-progress, you’d usually
press the
CANCEL
key.
Enabling/disabling
individual waypoint
symbols
You can enable or disable the display of waypoint symbols on
the
CHART
screen. After you enable certain waypoint symbols,
you must ensure that the display of waypoint symbols is
turned on at the
WAYPT DISPLAY
field (see “Displaying
waypoint symbols and names” starting on page 13-26).
To enable or disable
individual
waypoint symbols:
1. At the
CHART SETUP
screen, press the
WAYPTS
key.
The
CHART SETUP
screen (for waypoints) appears.
