Updating HCRF charts
Update CDs are cumulative, so if you haven’t installed the
Update CD from a previous week, you can just skip to the
most current weekly Update CD to load the most current chart
information.
To update HCRF charts, you’ll need:

the Update CD (contains the updates to the charts); and if
you’ve received a new floppy disk with your Update CD, be
sure to use this disk as well during the updating process.
1. Press the
STAR
key until you reach the
SETUP MENU
screen, then press the
CHART INVENTORY
key.
2. At the
CHART INVENTORY
screen, press the
LOAD/
UPDATE CHARTS
key.
3. Insert the Update CD into the CD-ROM drive.
4. Press the
UPDATE CHARTS
key.
All HCRF charts are updated.
5. At the
UPDATING CHARTS
dialog box, press the
CONFIRM
key.
The charts are updated and the
HCRF SUMMARY
dialog
box appears. Each chart updated is represented by a
different horizontal line, with updating details for the
highlighted line displayed at the bottom (press the
CURSOR PAD
up or down to highlight each individual
chart).
The far-left column displays either the word
OK
or
an error number, if any. If an error is displayed, write down
the error number and see “Table 12: HCRF chart errors”
on page 13-55.
