Three-dimensional (3-D) steer screen
The
3-D STEER
screen shows a panoramic 3-D view with
graphical and numerical data. Graphically, the
3-D STEER
screen shows your active waypoint, if any (shown with a green
flag, or red if it’s an MOB waypoint); XTE; nearby trip and route
waypoints (shown with blue flags), and avoidance points
(shown as red circles) all in relation to your desired track (the
dashed center line); and distance and bearing from your
present position to the active waypoint. SOG, COG, ETA, and
ETE are shown numerically.
If you’re navigating to a waypoint, the
3D STEER
screen
displays your vessel on or near your desired track line,
according to your XTE. If you aren’t navigating to a waypoint,
the
3D STEER
screen still shows a course-up view of nearby
waypoints.
You can press the
IN
and
OUT
keys to zoom in and out on the
3-D STEER
screen.
