put new points in the trip (go to them now or add them to
the end of your trip)

re-use existing points in the trip (active, past, or future

ERASURES

remove points from the trip (all points or only selected
ones)
Use the
SAVE TRIP AS ROUTE
key to:

save the trip as a permanent route
Use the
STOP NAV/RESUME NAV
key (not shown if there isn’t
an active waypoint) to:
•
stop navigation alarms, waypoint sequencing, and
autopilot control, or else resume
Use the
DATE-DIST/BRG-TIME
key to:
•
switch the
ARRIVAL
column of the trip list between day
and time of arrival, day and date of arrival, and distance
and bearing between trip points along with the total trip
distance

WAYPTS/ROUTES
key
Pressing the
WAYPTS/ROUTES
key lets you create new
waypoints, routes, tracks, and avoidance points; access, sort,
and edit lists of stored waypoints, routes, tracks, and avoidance
points; navigate to a stored waypoint; and follow a stored
route.
NOTE:
You can also create and store waypoints and routes directly from
the
CHART
screen. For more about creating waypoints from the
CHART
screen, see “Creating a new waypoint graphically” starting
on page 6-8. For information about creating routes from the
CHART
screen, see “Creating a route as you travel” starting on
page 8-10.
