Tracks screen
The
TRACKS
screen lists your stored tracks by whether the
track is marked for display on the
CHART
screen; color (for
CHART
screen display); name; start date and time of the first
track point; and end date and time of the last track point. A
description of the selected track is also displayed. Until you
store user-defined tracks in the database, the
TRACKS
screen
will be blank.
Tracks screen
By pressing the
CURSOR PAD
left or right, you can sort the
track list by each column (selected columns are highlighted
with a vertical stripe):
•
a sort by the
CHT
column (marked for display on the
CHART
screen) places that track at the top
•
a sort by the
COL
column (color) groups same colors
together
A track is a sequence of
position measurements
that’s defined by actually
travelling from point A to
point B.
That is, a track is
a continuous record—not
individual waypoints—of
the path your vessel has
travelled.
