The
TRACKS
screen has five menu keys—
NEXT COLOR
,
ON
CHART
,
NEW TRACK
,
START SAVING
,
and
EDIT—
that
control the track function (if there aren’t any defined tracks,
this screen is empty).
Use the
NEXT COLOR
key to:
•
select another color for the selected track
Use the
ON CHART
key to:
•
mark a track for display on the
CHART
screen or hide the
track
Use the
NEW TRACK
key to:
•
define a new track by picking a start time and end time
Use the
START SAVING
key to:
•
start saving a new track immediately, then stop saving at
any time
Use the
EDIT
key to:
•
change the description or name of an existing track
•
permanently erase a track

Avoidance points screen
The
AVOIDANCE POINTS
screen lists all your stored, named
avoidance points by radius; name; distance and bearing; and
lat/lon or TDs (the distance and bearing fields are blank if
there’s no position fix). Until you store user-defined avoidance
points in the database, the
AVOIDANCE POINTS
screen will be
blank.
An avoidance point is
a specific position
defined by its radius,
and either its lat/lon, or
TDs, or distance and
bearing
from some
position fix
.
