Go to coordinates dialog box
From this point, you can either go directly to the new
coordinates, or add the new coordinates to the end of your
trip.
Going to new coordinates now
Use this option to navigate directly from your present position
to the new waypoint:
1. From the
CHART
screen, press the
GO TO
key.
2. At the
GO TO COORDINATES
dialog box, use the
KEYPAD
to enter the desired position coordinates or
distance and bearing.
3. Press the
GO NOW
key (or press the
CANCEL
key to
cancel).
On the
CHART
screen, a waypoint is automatically
created named
COORD
to which you’re now going, and
appears as a track line to this new waypoint. The 961/962
automatically removes any future waypoints from your
trip, inserts your present vessel position and time as a
past point, and adds this new position as your existing
active waypoint.
