WARNING
•
Disconnect the battery before making any repairs.
•
Charge batteries in an open well-ventilated area, away from spark and flames. Unplug the charger
before connecting or disconnecting it from the battery. Wear protective clothing and use insulated
tools.
•
Battery acid is poisonous and can cause burns. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothing.
Protect your face, eyes, and clothing when working with a battery.
•
Battery gases can explode. Keep cigarettes, sparks and flames away from the battery.
Always keep the battery clean and fully charged. Use a paper towel to clean the battery case. If the
battery terminals are corroded, clean them with a solution of four parts water and one-part baking
soda. Apply a light coating of corrosion preventative to the battery terminals.
Specifications:
12V, Negative ground, 380 CCA (Cold Cranking Amps)
If the battery is discharged due to the machine not being used for an extended period of time, connect
the terminals to an external battery charger and fully charge the battery before starting. If the battery
fails to hold a charge, check for proper battery maintenance, connections, and engine charging
system function. Consult engine owner’s manual for details.
Cleaning and Long-Term Storage
1.
Lower the loader arms and turn the ignition key to OFF to stop the engine. Remove the key.
2.
Remove dirt and grime from the external parts of the entire machine, especially the engine. Clean
dirt and chaff from the outside of the engine’s cylinder head fins and blower housing.
IMPORTANT:
You can wash the machine with mild detergent and water. Do not pressure wash the
machine. Avoid excess use of water, especially near the control panel, engine, hydraulic pumps, and
motors.
3.
Service the air cleaner. Refer to the air cleaner section.
