5.0 CALIBRATION MENU
Allow 5 minutes warm-up time (power on) before attempting calibration.
(In setup menu, change standby time to 10
minutes to stop the counter from switching off. When finished, reduce standby time to save battery power)
If red light is flashing, connect a charger and fully charge banknote and coin counter before attempting calibra-
tion. (Calibration should be performed while banknote and coin counter is running of battery power)
Place counter on a flat, stable surface. Do not lean or make contact with the surface during calibration. Make
sure the room is free from strong air drafts caused by air conditioning or open windows
To enter calibration menu, switch banknote and coin counter off and press ESC key.
5.1 BANKNOTE AND COIN COUNTER CALIBRATION
To maintain accuracy the counter can be calibrated at any time using a precise 100g weight (not included)
Select CALIBRATE SCALES from calibration menu
Start calibration and follow screen prompts. (ESC key can be used to abort calibration at any time)
On completion, select one of two options:
If any banknotes or coins were previously calibrated select CURRENT SETTINGS,
otherwise select FACTORY DEFAULTS
5.2 CALIBRATING SCOOP
To use a different scoop to the one supplied, select CALIBRATE SCOOP
and follow screen prompts
5.3 CALIBRATING PACKAGING ITEMS
Calibration requires between 10 and 100 samples of packaging items such as elastic bands, paper clips, etc.
(Use only elastic bands with consistent width and diameter. Paper rolls should be calibrated using paper from
the smallest coin denomination)
Select CALIBRATE PACKAGE from calibration menu and the type of package to be calibrated
Select sample quantity to be used for calibration
Select used quantity (1-15, number of packaging items used to make a package)
Start calibration and follow screen prompts
5.4 CALIBRATING BANKNOTES AND COINS

6.0 LOOSE BANKNOTES TOLERANCE
The default settings normally do not require change

7.0 PRINT FUNCTIONS
Press PRINT key to display print options
Print Single Print running totals for currently selected denomination
Print Total Print grand total
Auto Print Press ENT
key to toggle automatic print option
(Every time a count is registered, it will be printed automatically with current date & time)
Print Menu Press ENT
key to view saved data or PRINT key to print it
While viewing, use and keys
to change between coins and banknotes screen
Press PRINT key to individually print coins or banknotes
8.0 POWER MANAGEMENT
Banknote and coin counter can be operated from internal battery or mains charger (included)
The following battery status indication is provided via front panel LED:
Red steady
Battery voltage too low Recharge immediately
Red flashing
Battery low warning
Recharge when possible
Green flashing Battery is charging
Light off
Battery charging completed
TO PREVENT BATTERY DAMAGE, BANKNOTE AND COIN COUNTER
SHOULD BE CHARGED AT LEAST ONCE EVERY SIX MONTHS
