› All batteries gradually lose their 
charge. The higher the temperature 
the quicker they lose their charge. If 
you store your drill for long periods 
of time without using it, recharge the 
batteries every month or two. This 
practice will prolong battery life.

ASSEMBLY

INSTALLING DRILL BITS

NOTE: 

Only use accessories with SDS 

or SDS Plus shanks. 

Be sure that the shank of the bit is 
clean. Dirt particles may cause the bit 
to line up improperly. To avoid gear 
damage or motor overloading do not 
use bits larger than the maximum 
recommended capacity of the drill. For 
best performance, be sure that the bit 
is properly sharpened and the shank is 
lightly greased before use.

1. Remove the battery from the drill.
2. Pull the releasing collar inwards 
(Fig. 2) and insert the bit. Release the 
collar so the bit holds in place (Fig. 3). 
3. Pull on the bit to ensure it is inserted 
correctly.
