trEMoLo
This effect is a cyclic modulation of the track’s volume, and can be used to lower and increase it
rhythmically.
rEPEatEr
This effect repeats segments of audio in a manner similar to the Loop Roll function, though
incorporating an element of randomness as well. As well as mix depth, the probability that the
current audio section will be repeated can be set with the MOD control, and the count at which
the audio section will be repeated with the X control.
rEVErSEr
This is a similar effect to Repeater, except that the repeated audio segments are replayed
backwards, thus reversing the envelopes of the individual notes.
BraKEr
The braker acts like a classic turntable-style ‘stop’ braking function, where the audio winds
down before resuming playback once again.
The table below summarises the FX parameters controlled by the MOD and X controls for each
effect. The DEPTH control is effective for all effects.

time synchronisation
ITCH’s effects are synchronised to the track’s BPM. The effect parameters will modulate or
repeat on a cyclic basis; the length of the cycle is set with the BEATS control
56
. Each of the
time settings represent a division of a single beat. A value of ‘1/1’ means a cycle one beat long,
and a value of ‘4/1’ means a 4-beat cycle (a whole bar). ‘1/4‘ indicates a quarter of a beat. i.e., a
musical 16th. note).
