Draft Packages
When you import a package into the Application Catalog using the ConflictSolver Process Assistant, that package
is automatically imported into a special group called Draft, a temporary working group that isolates an imported
package that has not yet been checked for conflicts from the rest of the packages in the Application Catalog. The
Draft group is only visible when you select Current on the
Select a Package Page
of the Process Assistant.
Figure 2-2:

By placing these newly imported packages into the Draft group, you are indicating that these packages are in the
process of being prepared for distribution, and should not be used as target packages in conflict detection.
After you have performed validation, conflict detection, and conflict resolution on a Draft package, and it is ready
for distribution at your organization, you should then move it out of the Draft group using the
Organize Package
Page
of the Process Assistant. The package will then be visible on the Application Manager View.
Note •
While it is possible to move a package out of the Draft group before conflict detection and resolution have
been performed, it is not recommended.
