Adjusting the handle height

To move the attendant handles up or down, turn the lock
lever (located on the back of the seat directly beneath
each handle) anti-clockwise until loose.
Adjust the handles to the required height (level with the
attendant’s wrist height when standing), then tighten by
turning the lock lever clockwise.
Ensure the handles are at the same height.
If the lever is protruding from the side of the wheelchair
it can be repositioned. Holding your thumb against the
red centre point of the handle, pull the handle outwards
and rotate.

Adjustments

Adjusting the seat height

By adjusting the wheels, the height of the seat can be set
at one of two heights (470 or 500 mm). Both front and
rear wheel height must be adjusted to the same height.

Adjust front wheel height

The front wheel assembly includes two bolt holes, 30 mm
apart (upper and lower). From the factory, the wheelchair
is set to the lower bolt hole. To lower the seat to 470 mm,
remove the bolt from the centre of the front wheel to
release the wheel.
Move the wheel to align the centre against the upper hole,
reinsert and firmly tighten the bolt.

Adjust rear wheel height

Remove the rear wheels (see page 8
v“Removing rear wheels”).
Undo the two bolts holding the wheel bracket,
adjust the bracket to the desired height and
retighten the bolts.
Always make sure all four wheels are set to the
same height so that the seat remains level and
parallel to the ground.

Changing the seat height requires a
readjustment of the park brakes – please
refer to “Adjusting the brakes”.
